(Danvers, MA)-On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, Beverly Hospital held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of their state-of-the-art outpatient care center, Beverly Hospital at Danvers Medical and Day Surgery Center.
During Tuesday’s event, guests listened to the sounds of a string quartet while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Speeches were delivered by Stephen Laverty, president of Beverly Hospital, Wayne Marquis, Danvers town manager, and Jody Fleit, senior vice president of operations for Beverly Hospital, recognizing the years of planning and many hours of hard work that went into the completion of the new facility. In addition, hospital employees were on-hand to give attendees tours of the various departments, highlighting the technology and capabilities of the new center.

The Beverly Hospital at Danvers Medical and Day Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art regional care facility designed to provide the North Shore with advanced care in a wide range of areas including the latest in breast health and digital mammography, cardiovascular care, pain management, rehabilitation and sports medicine, among others. The custom-designed, 99,000 square foot facility will offer patient-friendly hours, including evenings, in a location that is both convenient and accessible at the intersection of Routes 1 and 62.
